About Bikram Yoga

The Beginner Bikram Yoga Class is a type of hot yoga that is practiced in Bikram studios around the world. It includes twenty-six postures in a heated room designed to warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons. By the end of the 90-minute class, you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ, and gland while systematically moving fresh, oxygenated blood to 100% of your body.

What to bring to class

Dress comfortably in shorts and a tank or t-shirt. Try not to eat for 2 hours before class, but come to class hydrated. Bring a yoga mat, bath-sized towel and water bottle. Yoga mats and towels are available for rental. Beverages are available for purchase.


Our instructors

Bob Scanlon, owner, started practicing Bikram Yoga in 2005 and was certified as a Bikram Yoga Instructor by Bikram Choudhury in Honolulu, HI in 2007. He opened Bikram Yoga Hudson in the Spring of 2010
